8/28/2009 - DiscoveryBioMed Approached to Host Workshop and Participate in Drug Discovery Partnerships, at Biotechnology Meeting in Boston in October 2009.

DiscoveryBioMed was recommended by NIH officials and approached by Opal Events to join and participate in a biotechnology scientific meeting entitled “Drug Discovery Partnerships: Filling The Pipeline and Integrating Private-Public Efforts To Treat Severely Unmet Medical Needs” in Boston, Massachusetts on October 28-30, 2009.

“DBM is honored to participate in this timely and important meeting. Partnerships to accelerate drug discovery is a core principle on which DBM was founded,” explains Dr. Erik Schwiebert, Director of DBM. DBM will lead a workshop on “Scripting the Early Steps of a Drug Discovery Program”, will hold an exhibit, sponsor a reception and participate on other panels and in other sessions.
