3/2/2009 - DiscoveryBioMed and the Birmingham Technology Fund Deepen Their Relationship

With a series of investments starting on March 2 and extending across 2009, the Birmingham Technology Fund deepens its relationship with DiscoveryBioMed.  As the company builds its flow of client projects toward capacity, these funds support operations and capital improvements.  Regarding the investment, CEO Dr. Erik Schwiebert said, "Our relationship with Greer Capital and the Birmingham Technology Fund has been incredibly supportive in monetary terms as well as in mentoring terms.  The help in business model development and guidance has been especially important in these uncertain economic times."
