2/19/2009 - Agreement with Lifeline Cell Technology for Multiple Projects through 2009 and Beyond

In its first commercial partnership, DiscoveryBioMed begins a multi-faceted agreement with Lifeline Cell Technology, a subsidiary of International Stem Cell Corporation.  Under part of the agreement, DBM will perform functional testing of Lifeline's primary human cell cultures from various human tissues.  The combination of DBM's expertise in assay development and cellular physiology with Lifeline's ability to produce adult human stem cells is expected to result in new research tools for drug discovery, cell physiology, and cell toxicity paradigms.
