1/21/2008 - Fourth Quarter 2007 Progress; New Board Member

DiscoveryBioMed's Board of Directors held its first quarterly meeting. With its laboratories fully operational, the company has both R&D and client service projects under way.

The Board welcomed Dr. Matthew Gonda, CEO of Procris Pharmaceuticals, as DiscoveryBioMed's independent board member. Dr. Gonda brings considerable experience in drug discovery and pharmaceuticals development. He is also a board member for other biotechnology companies in the Birmingham area.
