11/7/2007 - First Round of Equity Investment for DBM

DiscoveryBioMed, LLC closed on its first round of equity investment from the Birmingham Technology Fund.  Fund manager Dr. Larry Greer expressed his confidence in the work led by CEO Erik Schwiebert, Ph.D. and facilitated by COO Tom Barr, Ph.D. in getting the company's laboratory operational and its potential clients committed to using the company's services and expertise. DiscoveryBioMed is grateful to Dr. Larry Greer and Alan Dean of Greer Capital Advisors, LLC for their support and mentorship.  DiscoveryBioMed is now at work on its first client projects.
